I spent the formative years of my 20's living without a care in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I met the love of my life, created a decent career and had a respectable wardrobe. None of that equates to financial sense. I know this now. Yeah, it was super fun and I totally miss having Korean food whenever I want, but now that we're actually living like grown ups and thinking about our future and our family, I have to make some changes.
Let me be very clear that I am not happy about this. A lot of money saving bloggers LOVE couponing and cutting corners. I really like spending money, going out to drinks and getting mani/pedis. But that isn't going to help me buy a house or put my kid through college.
Because I severely dislike saving money, I've decided to chronicle my journey and help you find the fun in frugality. It won't be easy, and there will be swearing, but I promise we'll find some fun along with the reclaimed dollars.
Join me on my journey and let's figure out how to be fabulous (kind of) on a tight budget.
