On Sunday we decided to go for a hike with my sister and her family. We were warned that because of the snow in the higher elevations that said hike would be super easy. This is where I tell you how much my ass hurt the next day because of the elevation.

Because it was a paved hike, I can see where one may assume its easy. But the steady elevation an slippery leaves. created their own special level of difficulty. The payoff was pretty great though. Views of the Green and Adirondack mountains surrounded us. It was pretty spectacular.

I can't wait to get back on a mountain. Preferably geared up and with some sort of ski or snowboard apparatus beneath me.
